Issued 4:00 PM NST 12 December 2017 Tonight and Wednesday At 4:00 p.m. NST today trough located east of the East Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Wednesday departing trough located east of the
Marine District.

At 4:00 p.m. NST today ridge located over Labrador.
By 4:00 p.m. NST Wednesday ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over Labrador Sea.

At 4:00 p.m. NST today intensifying low 1000 mb located over
New England.
By 4:00 p.m. NST Wednesday low 970 mb located near the Gaspe
Peninsula.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:58 PM NST 12 December 2017 A trough of low pressure east of the Labrador Sea will continue its
eastward track tonight. Strong to gale force northwesterlies will
diminish tonight as a ridge of high pressure approaches.

An intensifying low pressure system will approach Labrador from the
south on Wednesday. Strong to gale force easterlies will develop over
most waters late Wednesday ahead of this low.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except East Labrador Sea.
