By 9:30 a.m. NDT Sunday dissipating low 998 mb located over the
South Labrador Coast.
By 9:30 a.m. NDT Sunday intensifying low 992 mb located east of
Belle Isle Bank.
Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:55 PM NDT 19 October 2019 A low pressure system over Mid Labrador Coast will move southwards
tonight and dissipate over the South Labrador Coast by morning.
Another low pressure system will form east of Belle Isle Bank by
Sunday morning then quickly intensify. Strong to gale force
northerlies will persist north of the these two features tonight and
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for Mid
Labrador Coast - north of Hopedale, North Labrador Coast, South
Labrador Sea - northwestern half, Northwest Labrador Sea and East
Labrador Sea - northern half.
