Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 4:00 PM NST 11 November 2025 Tonight and Wednesday At 4:00 p.m. NST today low 982 mb located southwest of Labrador.
By 9:30 p.m. NST tonight dissipating low 983 mb located over
western Labrador.

At 4:00 a.m. NST Wednesday approaching low 961 mb located over
the Quebec Lower North Shore.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:41 PM NST 11 November 2025 A low pressure system southwest of Labrador will move to lie over
Western Labrador by this evening where it will dissipate. Strong to
gale force southeasterlies will persist this evening across all
waters east of this low.

A second low pressure system will approach from the Gulf of St.
Lawrence this evening before moving northward through Labrador on
Wednesday. Gale to storm force southeasterlies ahead of this low will
shift to strong to gale force south to southwesterlies in its wake
late in the day on Wednesday.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
all waters except Lake Melville, North Labrador Coast, and Northwest
Labrador Sea - western half, where gale warnings are in effects.
