Issued 9:30 AM NST 30 November 2023 Today Tonight and Friday At 9:30 a.m. NST today low 975 mb located over the NorthwestLabrador Sea.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Friday departing low 981 mb located over Baffin
Island.
At 4:00 a.m. NST Friday approaching low located over Quebec.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:09 AM NST 30 November 2023 An intense low pressure system over the Northwest Labrador Sea willtrack northward to lie over Baffin Island by this evening. Storm to
hurricane force east to southeasterlies are expected east of the low,
while gale to storm force northwesterlies are expected west of the
low.
Marine interests are advised that a hurricane force wind warning is
in effect for East Labrador Sea, a storm warning is in effect for
Northwest Labrador Sea, and gale warnings are in effect for all
remaining waters except Lake Melville and South Labrador Coast.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Lake Melville, the Labrador coast, and South Labrador Sea.
