Issued 9:30 AM NST 4 December 2023 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 9:30 a.m. NST today intensifying trough located on a linenorthwest-southeast over the East Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Tuesday trough located on a line
northwest-southeast over the South Labrador Sea.
At 9:30 a.m. NST today quasi-stationary ridge located on a line
east-west over Labrador.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:17 AM NST 4 December 2023 A trough of low pressure located over the East Labrador Sea willslowly drift westward to lie over the South Labrador Sea tonight.
Strong to gale force northwesterlies will develop west of the trough
with strong to gale force easterlies expected east of it.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
North Labrador Coast and the Labrador Sea.
Marine interests are advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Lake Melville and the Labrador coast.
