Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:21 PM NDT 20 August 2018 A trough of low pressure extending from a low in the Davis Strait
will move to lie along the East Coast of Greenland tonight. Strong to
gale force westerlies are expected over northern waters tonight in
the wake of the trough. These winds will persist into Tuesday as the
low remains nearly stationary and a ridge builds in over southern

North Labrador Coast, Northwest Labrador Sea, and East Labrador Sea.
