of Greenland.
At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight ridge located on a line north-south
over Labrador.
By 9:30 p.m. NST Wednesday ridge located east of the East Labrador
Sea.
At 4:00 p.m. NST Wednesday approaching low 978 mb located over
Hudson Strait.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:29 PM NST 16 December 2025 An intense low pressure system southeast of Greenland will continuetracking northeastwards tonight. Strong to gale force northwesterlies
behind the low will gradually diminish as the low moves away and a
ridge of high pressure builds in from the west.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Sea and East Labrador Sea.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except East Labrador Sea.
