Issued 9:30 AM NDT 31 August 2026 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 9:30 a.m. NDT today low 995 mb located over the South Labrador
Sea.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday low 998 mb located south of Greenland.

At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight ridge located over Quebec.
By 9:30 p.m. NDT Tuesday ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over Labrador.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:15 AM NDT 31 August 2026 A low pressure system over the South Labrador Sea will continue to
slowly drift southeastward to lie south of Greenland by tonight.
Strong to gale force north to northwesterlies west of the low will
gradually diminish through the day as the low weakens and departs.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for Mid
Labrador Coast - north of Hopedale and North Labrador Coast.
