Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:28 PM NDT 17 July 2019 A low pressure system over the North Labrador Coast will track
southeastwards tonight to lie over the Funk Island Bank by Thursday
evening. Strong southeasterlies will continue to spread across the
Labrador Sea ahead of the low tonight. Winds will shift to strong to
gale force northwesterlies over western waters on Thursday as the low
moves into the Labrador Sea.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for Mid
Labrador Coast - north of Hopedale and North Labrador Coast.
