Wind diminishing to southwest 20 late this evening then backing to south 15 near midnight. Wind increasing to southeast 15 to 25 late overnight and to southwest 40 to 50 Monday morning. Wind diminishing to west 30 to 40 Monday afternoon.

Issued 4:00 AM PST 7 December 2025 Today Tonight and Monday At 4:00 a.m. PST today departing trough located over Hecate Strait.

At 10:00 a.m. PST today trough located over Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PST today trough located on a line east-west over
Langara.

At 9:30 p.m. PST Monday warm front located over Bowie.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 4:00 AM PST 7 December 2025 The first in a series of troughs over Hecate Strait early this
morning will depart. Gale force southerlies across the northern and
central waters will briefly diminish to strong. A second trough will
quickly move into the northern waters this morning. Winds across
The northern and central waters will rise again to southwest gale
force late this morning.

A frontal system moving through on Monday will bring storm force
westerlies across Bowie and the northern waters. Hurricane force
gusts are possible with this system. Southwesterly gales will develop
across Explorer and southern waters on Monday with this frontal
system, spreading into Juan de Fuca late Monday.
