interior.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT today frontal system located on a line
northwest-southeast over Haida Gwaii.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT today frontal system located over the southern
Alaska panhandle.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT today low 988 mb located southwest of the offshore
waters.
By 4:00 a.m. PDT Friday low 998 mb located 120 miles northwest
of Bowie.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 4:12 AM PDT 28 May 2020 A frontal system over Haida Gwaii this morning is giving strong
southeasterlies to the North Coast waters. The frontal system will
weaken as it moves to the Alaska Panhandle this afternoon.

In the wake of the front, strong to marginal gale force
southeasterlies are expected over Bowie today as a deep low
Well offshore gradually fills and moves towards the Gulf of Alaska.
Over the rest of the northern waters, strong south to southeast
Winds will prevail today through Friday morning.
