Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:19 AM PST 23 January 2026 High pressure over Interior British Columbia continues to produce
gale force outflow winds through the mainland inlets and valleys of
central and north coasts late this morning. These outflow winds
Will gradually ease near noon and diminish further by Saturday
afternoon as the high weakens.

Meanwhile, fog banks over the Northern Strait of Georgia are expected
to become fog patches this afternoon.
