north-south over Bowie.
At 4:00 p.m. PDT today low 1010 mb located west of Explorer.
By 9:30 p.m. PDT Saturday dissipating low 1007 mb located over
northern Bowie.
At 11:00 a.m. PDT Saturday trough located on a line
northwest-southeast over Explorer.
By 9:30 p.m. PDT Saturday dissipating trough located on a line
northwest-southeast over Vancouver Island.

Issued 3:47 PM PDT 9 May 2025 A trough over Bowie late this afternoon is generating occasionalGale force southeasterlies across Dixon Entrance East and Northern
Hecate Strait. These winds will ease this evening.
Southerly gale force winds will also develop over Dixon Entrance West
and northern sections of west coast Haida Gwaii this evening and ease
overnight.
On Saturday, a trough over Explorer will moving towards Vancouver
Island. Winds south of the Brooks Peninsula will rise to southeast
gale force late Saturday afternoon. Winds will veer to southwest
strong in the wake of the trough Saturday evening.
