northeast-southwest over Bowie.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT today quasi-stationary trough located on a line
northwest-southeast over northern Vancouver Island.

At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight quasi-stationary low located over southern
Explorer.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:48 AM PDT 26 April 2018 A ridge of high pressure over the BC Interior in combination with
A trough over Vancouver Island will produce marginal gale force
outflow winds through Howe Sound early this morning.

A ridge of high pressure offshore will build Friday resulting in
strong to gale force northerly winds over the northern and central
waters.
