Marine Weather StatementIssued 4:00 AM PST 28 January 2021 A ridge of high pressure will remain over the BC Interior. Strong to
gale force outflow winds will prevail through the coastal mainland
inlets through this morning.
Moderate freezing spray will develop through Douglas Channel this
evening and continue through this morning then return overnight.
A frontal system will approach the offshore waters late this
afternoon. Ahead of the front, southerly gales will develop over
Bowie, and the northern and central waters beginning this evening.
