At 4:00 a.m. PST today trough located from the Alaska panhandle
to the Central Coast.
By 4:00 p.m. PST today weakening trough located from the Central
Coast to Explorer.
At 4:00 a.m. PST today frontal system located west of the offshore
waters.
By 4:00 p.m. PST today frontal system located over Bowie.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 4:00 AM PST 28 January 2021 A ridge of high pressure will remain over the BC Interior. Strong togale force outflow winds will prevail through the coastal mainland
inlets through this morning.
Moderate freezing spray will develop through Douglas Channel this
evening and continue through this morning then return overnight.
A frontal system will approach the offshore waters late this
afternoon. Ahead of the front, southerly gales will develop over
Bowie, and the northern and central waters beginning this evening.
