Issued 9:30 PM PST 12 January 2025 Tonight and Monday At 9:30 p.m. PST tonight cold front located over eastern Bowie.By 4:00 a.m. PST Monday weakening frontal system located over
Hecate Strait.
At 10:00 a.m. PST Monday frontal system located over Bowie.
By 9:30 p.m. PST Monday frontal system located over Haida Gwaii.
At 4:00 a.m. PST Tuesday cold front located over Sandspit extending
southwestward.
By 10:00 a.m. PST Tuesday quasi-stationary cold front located over
McInnes Island extending southwestward.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:28 PM PST 12 January 2025 A weakening frontal system over west coast Haida Gwaii is generatingsoutherly gales over the Dixon entrances and Northern Hecate Strait.
These gales will weaken tonight.
Another frontal system will approach Bowie Monday morning. Southerly
gales will develop over Bowie Monday morning and spread across the
northern waters in the afternoon. Southwest gales are expected across
north and central waters Monday night as the frontal system moves
inland.
