By 1:00 p.m. PST today dissipating ridge located on a line east-west
over southern Explorer.

At 4:00 a.m. PST today frontal system located on a line
northeast-southwest over Haida Gwaii.
By 4:00 p.m. PST today dissipating cold front located on a line
northeast-southwest over the Central Coast.

At 4:00 p.m. PST today trough located over Bowie.
By 7:00 a.m. PST Saturday weakening trough located on a line
north-south over the Central Coast.

Issued 3:48 AM PST 23 February 2024 On Saturday morning, a weak trough will swing through the northern
waters then move inland by midday. Behind the trough, westerly gales
will develop. These winds will further intensify Saturday night as it
expands into central waters.
