Issued 4:00 AM PDT 31 March 2023 Today Tonight and Saturday At 4:00 a.m. PDT today frontal system located over Haida Gwaii.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT today departing frontal system located on a line
north-south over southern Vancouver Island.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:32 AM PDT 31 March 2023 A frontal system over Haida Gwaii will track southeastward across
Vancouver Island today. Ahead of the system, strong to gale force
southerlies over northern waters will spread to central and southern
waters including the Strait of Georgia through this morning.

In its wake, winds will shift to strong to gale force northwesterly
through today, and then spread to Juan de Fuca Strait this evening as
the system departs the South Coast.
