over Queen Charlotte Sound.
By 3:00 p.m. PDT Monday weakening ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over northern Vancouver Island.

At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight trough located over Bowie.
By 5:00 p.m. PDT Monday trough located over Hecate Strait.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:22 PM PDT 5 July 2026 A frontal system will push across Haida Gwaii late Monday morning
spreading gale force southeast winds to Dixon Entrance East and
Northern Hecate Strait. The southeasterly gales will ease Monday
evening.
