Issued 10:30 AM PDT 15 October 2026 Today Tonight and Friday At 10:30 a.m. PDT today frontal system located on a line
northeast-southwest over Haida Gwaii.
By 10:30 a.m. PDT Friday departing frontal system located from
the Central Coast to Explorer.

At 4:00 p.m. PDT Friday trough located over Explorer.
By 9:30 p.m. PDT Friday trough located over the Central Coast.

At 10:30 a.m. PDT today quasi-stationary ridge located over BC
interior.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:16 AM PDT 15 October 2026 A strong frontal system over Bowie will move to lie over Haida Gwaii
this afternoon and stall there tonight. The frontal system will move
inland Friday morning.

Gale to storm force southeasterlies ahead of the front will persist
over northern and central waters today. Winds will shift to moderate
to strong westerlies as the front passes.

A trough of low pressure will move into Explorer Friday afternoon and
reach the Central Coast Friday evening. Gale force southwesterlies
are expected near the trough.
