By 4:00 p.m. PST today weakening cold front located on a line
northeast-southwest over northern Vancouver Island.
At 10:30 a.m. PST Wednesday deepening trough located west of Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PST Wednesday trough located over southern Haida Gwaii.

Issued 10:06 AM PST 2 March 2021 A cold front tracking across Queen Charlotte Sound this morning willslide south to lie over North Vancouver Island this afternoon.
Ahead of the front, southerly gales have developed over the northern
and central waters. In its wake, winds will shift to strong to gale
force westerlies which will ease tonight.
A trough of low pressure will approach the offshore waters on
Wednesday. Ahead of the trough, strong to gale force southwesterly
winds will develop over the central waters and North Vancouver
Island.
