By 4:00 p.m. PST Friday low located over southern Explorer.

At 9:30 p.m. PST tonight quasi-stationary ridge located over
northeastern BC interior.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:24 PM PST 2 January 2025 A low pressure system is approaching Explorer from the southwest
tonight. This system combined with a strong ridge of high pressure
over the British Columbia Interior will continue to give gale to
storm force outflow winds through Major mainland inlets tonight and
Friday.
