At 1:00 p.m. PST today ridge located on a line north-south over
Vancouver Island.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:42 AM PST 26 December 2024 A compact low pressure system will track across the Juan de Fuca
strait and Strait of Georgia this morning. This will generate gale
force southeast winds followed by a short burst of strong to gale
force westerlies over the inner South Coast waters early this
morning.
