At 11:00 p.m. PDT Thursday approaching trough located over western
Bowie.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:48 PM PDT 21 April 2021 A north to south aligned ridge of high pressure centred offshore overouter coastal waters is giving northwest gales to the west side of
Vancouver Island and to southeast sections of the Explorer region.
Gale force northwesterlies are also forecast in Johnstone Strait and
in the Southern Strait of Georgia tonight.
Winds switch to moderate southerly over far northern offshore waters
as a trough approaches the Bowie region late on Thursday.
