Issued 10:30 AM PST 24 February 2018 Today Tonight and Sunday At 10:30 a.m. PST today ridge located over Explorer.
By 4:00 p.m. PST today departing ridge located over Vancouver
Island.

At 10:30 a.m. PST today cold front from 992 mb low located over
Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PST today cold front from 984 mb low located on a
line north-south over Queen Charlotte Sound.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:24 AM PST 24 February 2018 A 992 MB low will develop over the Gulf of Alaska this morning.
The associated cold front located over Bowie will move southeastward
to Queen Charlotte Sound by late this afternoon. In the wake of the
front, gale to storm force westerly winds will develop over the
northern waters this morning then spread southward later today and
tonight. The gale to storm force northwesterly winds will persist
through Sunday over most waters.
