At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight trough located over Bowie.
By 5:00 a.m. PDT Friday weakening trough located on a line
north-south over Queen Charlotte Sound.

At 11:00 p.m. PDT Friday approaching ridge located over Bowie.

Issued 9:24 PM PDT 21 June 2018 Onshore flow remains over the coast tonight as a trough of
Low pressure deepens over the BC Interior and a weak ridge of high
pressure persists offshore.

Westerly gale force winds will persist through Juan de Fuca Strait
tonight and ease early Friday morning then redevelop Friday

Northwest winds will reach marginal gale force through Johnstone
Strait tonight and ease Friday morning.

Elsewhere, winds will remain light to moderate.
