Issued 9:18 PM PDT 7 September 2024 A ridge of high pressure is currently building west of the offshorewaters.
Strong to gale force northwesterly winds have developed ahead of the
ridge over Northwest Vancouver island, south of the Brooks Peninsula,
this evening and will ease off overnight.
