Issued 3:53 PM PDT 18 May 2022 A deep low pressure centre has crossed Northern Vancouver Island andhas moved into mainland BC. In the wake of the frontal system winds
are now gale force westerly over the offshore waters and through Juan
de Fuca Strait. Gale force westerlies will weaken to strong through
Juan de Fuca later this evening.
