Island.
By 4:00 p.m. PST today weakening ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over central Vancouver Island.

At 10:30 a.m. PST today trough located over western Haida Gwaii.
By 4:00 p.m. PST today departing trough located over the North
Coast.

At 4:00 a.m. PST Friday approaching frontal system located west
of Bowie.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:26 AM PST 5 March 2026 A trough over Western Haida Gwaii will track towards the Central
Coast today, bringing a brief swath of strong to gale force
southerlies just ahead of the trough.

A stronger system approaches Haida Gwaii on Friday with southwesterly
gales beginning over Bowie by dawn Friday.
