Issued 4:00 AM PDT 18 August 2018 Today Tonight and Sunday At 4:00 a.m. PDT today quasi-stationary ridge located on a line
north-south over Bowie.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:46 AM PDT 18 August 2018 A ridge of high pressure building over Bowie will give a
northwesterly flow for much of the southern and central waters for
the foreseeable future.

Marginal northwesterly gale force winds will maintain themselves off
the west coast of Vancouver Island until this afternoon.
After diminishing briefly during the afternoon, winds are expected to
return to marginal gales by tonight.

Strong to gale force northwesterly winds are expected through
Johnstone Strait this afternoon before easing by Sunday morning.
