By 4:00 p.m. PDT Tuesday ridge located on a line north-south
over Bowie.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:10 PM PDT 12 May 2025 A ridge of high pressure over the offshore waters will bring strongto gale force northwest winds over the northern and central waters
and to west coast Vancouver Island and Explorer this evening.
Winds will ease overnight except for west coast Vancouver Island and
Southeastern Explorer, where gale force northwesterly winds can be
expected to persist into Tuesday midday.
Near gale force winds will linger over west coast Vancouver Island
from Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday morning.
