Issued 1:16 PM EST 18 November 2018 Strong northerly winds will develop on Monday and persist into Tuesday as a strong low pressure system tracks westward from the Atlantic Ocean into Greenland. Sustained winds of 40 to 55 knots are possible developing Monday afternoon with the strongest storm force winds off the tip of the Cumberland Peninsula. Some snow is expected to spread across the region and combined with the strong winds, blizzard conditions with near zero visibility can be expected Monday afternoon into Tuesday.
