At 4:00 p.m. NDT today trough located on a line northeast-southwest
over the South Labrador Sea.
By 9:30 a.m. NDT Tuesday dissipating trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over the South Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 4:00 PM NDT 7 September 2026 A low pressure system over Eastern Newfoundland will track
northeastward to lie over Belle Isle Bank by overnight tonight.
Strong to gale force north to northwesterlies are expected as the low
approaches south of the district.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for the
South Labrador Coast.
