Issued 4:00 AM NST 25 February 2018 Today Tonight and Monday At 4:00 a.m. NST today quasi-stationary low 996 mb located southeast
of Greenland.

At 4:00 a.m. NST today trough located on a line northeast-southwest
over southern Belle Isle Bank.
By 9:30 a.m. NST today departing trough located southeast of the
Marine District.

At 4:00 a.m. NST today ridge located over western Labrador.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Monday departing ridge located on a line
north-south over eastern Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:43 AM NST 25 February 2018 A low pressure system nearly stationary just off the southeastern
coast of Greenland will gradually dissipate today. Meanwhile, a
trough of low pressure over the Southern Belle Isle Bank will
continue to move away from the marine district. Strong to gale force
northwesterlies in the wake of these features will diminish
throughout the day as a ridge builds in from the west.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
Northwest Labrador Sea.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Labrador Sea.
