Issued 4:00 PM NST 14 December 2018 Tonight and Saturday At 4:00 p.m. NST today quasi-stationary trough located over the
coast of Greenland.

At 4:00 p.m. NST today ridge located over central Labrador.
By 9:30 a.m. NST Saturday dissipating ridge located over western
Labrador Sea.

At 4:00 p.m. NST today trough located over western Quebec.
By 4:00 p.m. NST Saturday trough located over the South Labrador
Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:56 PM NST 14 December 2018 A ridge of high pressure over Central Labrador will slowly drift east
tonight to lie over the Labrador Sea by Saturday morning. Meanwhile a
trough off the coast of Greenland will continue to remain stationary
throughout the forecast period. Strong to gale force west to
northwesterlies diminish to moderate to strong westerlies overnight
as the ridge approaches.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
Labrador Sea.

Marine interests are advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except Lake Melville, North Labrador Coast-
Saglek and south, and East Labrador Sea.
