Issued 9:30 PM NST 26 February 2020 Tonight and Thursday At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight trough located over the South Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 p.m. NST Thursday departing trough located over Funk
Island Bank.

At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight building ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over central Labrador.
By 9:30 p.m. NST Thursday ridge located from Labrador to the
Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:29 PM NST 26 February 2020 A trough of low pressure over the South Labrador Sea will move south
of the marine district on Thursday. Gale force northwesterlies over
southern waters will diminish to strong by Thursday afternoon as the
trough moves away and a ridge of high pressure builds in from the
west.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast, and South Labrador Sea.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Labrador Sea.
