Issued 4:00 PM NST 29 February 2024 Tonight and Friday At 4:00 p.m. NST today trough located on a line east-west over
the Northwest Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Friday departing trough located north of Labrador
Sea.

At 4:00 p.m. NST today trough located on a line north-south over
eastern Labrador.
By 4:00 p.m. NST Friday trough located east of Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:58 PM NST 29 February 2024 A trough of low pressure over the Northwest Labrador Sea will depart
to the north this evening. Strong to gale force easterlies ahead of
the trough will shift to strong to gale force southerlies behind it.

A second trough will cross the marine district from the west tonight
and Friday. Winds will shift to strong to gale force westerlies
behind this trough.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Labrador Sea.
