Issued 4:00 AM NST 1 December 2020 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 4:00 a.m. NST today low 970 mb located east of Greenland.
By 9:30 a.m. NST today departing low 965 mb located east of
Greenland.

At 4:00 p.m. NST today trough located on a line northeast-southwest
over central Labrador.
By 4:00 p.m. NST Wednesday trough located on a line east-west over
the South Labrador Coast.

At 4:00 a.m. NST today ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over Labrador Coast.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Wednesday ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over the East Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:41 AM NST 1 December 2020 A low pressure system east of Greenland will continue drifting away
from the marine district today. Strong to gale force northwesterlies
over the East Labrador Sea will diminish this morning as the low
moves away.

A trough of low pressure approaching from the west will slowly move
to lie over the South Labrador Coast by Wednesday afternoon. Strong
to gale force east to northeasterlies will develop late in the day to
the north of this feature.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for Mid
Labrador Coast, South Labrador Sea, and East Labrador Sea.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for North Labrador Coast and Northwest Labrador Sea.
