Issued 4:00 AM NST 19 February 2018 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 4:00 a.m. NST today quasi-stationary trough located north of
the Marine District.

At 4:00 a.m. NST today quasi-stationary ridge located on a line
east-west over Newfoundland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:44 AM NST 19 February 2018 A trough of low pressure north of the marine district will remain
nearly stationary. Meanwhile, a ridge of high pressure will remain
nearly stationary over Newfoundland. Strong to gale force northwest
to westerlies will persist over most waters between these two
features.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
water except Lake Melville and South Labrador Coast.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Labrador Sea.
