Issued 9:30 AM NDT 20 May 2018 Today Tonight and Monday At 9:30 a.m. NDT today ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over central Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT today departing ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over the East Labrador Sea.

At 9:30 a.m. NDT today deepening low 999 mb located over western
Labrador.
By 9:30 a.m. NDT Monday low 975 mb located northeast of Belle
Isle Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:25 AM NDT 20 May 2018 A low pressure system will approach from the west today and pass
across Belle Isle Bank this evening before moving off to the east
overnight and Monday. Over southernmost waters strong northeasterlies
will develop tonight then increase to gale force northwesterlies in
the wake of the low. Winds will diminish later on Monday as the low
pulls away.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
South Labrador Coast.
