Issued 4:00 AM NST 27 February 2020 Today Tonight and Friday At 4:00 a.m. NST today trough located over the South Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 p.m. NST today departing trough located over Funk Island
Bank.

At 4:00 a.m. NST today building ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over central Labrador.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Friday ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over Labrador Coast.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:51 AM NST 27 February 2020 A trough of low pressure over the far Southern Labrador Sea will move
south of the marine district today. Gale force northwesterlies over
southern waters will diminish to strong by this afternoon as the
trough moves away and a ridge of high pressure builds in from the
west.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast, and South Labrador Sea.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Labrador Sea.
