Issued 9:30 PM NDT 8 March 2026 Tonight and Monday At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight low 980 mb located over the East Labrador
Sea.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Monday quasi-stationary low 988 mb located north
of the East Labrador Sea.

At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight ridge located over Labrador.
By 9:30 p.m. NDT Monday ridge located over the East Labrador Sea.

At 4:00 p.m. NDT Monday approaching trough located over Quebec.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:50 PM NDT 8 March 2026 A low pressure over the East Labrador Sea will slowly track northward
to lie north of the district by early Monday morning. Strong to gale
force westerlies to northwesterlies will persist over northern waters
before diminishing on Monday afternoon.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
North Labrador Coast - north of Saglek, Northwest Labrador Sea, and
East Labrador Sea.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Labrador Sea.
