Greenland.
At 4:00 p.m. NDT today trough located over the South Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT Monday trough located east of Belle Isle Bank.
At 4:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over Belle Isle Bank.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT today dissipating ridge located on a line east-west
over the Mid Labrador Coast.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:50 AM NDT 15 March 2026 An intense low pressure system will depart east of Greenland thismorning. Strong to gale force northwesterlies over eastern waters
will diminish this morning as the low departs.
Meanwhile, a trough of low pressure will develop over the South
Labrador Sea late today and drift southeast through tonight. Strong
to gale force northwesterlies are expected to develop over southern
waters ahead of this feature.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Sea and East Labrador Sea.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Labrador Sea.
