Issued 9:30 PM NST 16 December 2017 Tonight and Sunday At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight low 974 mb located over the South
Labrador Sea.
By 9:30 a.m. NST Sunday dissipating low located over the South
Labrador Sea.

At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight low 960 mb located east of the Avalon
Peninsula.
By 4:00 p.m. NST Sunday low 955 mb located south of Greenland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:12 PM NST 16 December 2017 A weakening low pressure system over the Southwest Labrador Sea will
drift slowly southeastward during the forecast period. Strong to gale
force northerlies are expected north of the low with strong to gale
force south to southwesterlies to its south. Winds will shift to
strong to gale force northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Lake Melville.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except the East Labrador Sea.
