Issued 3:13 PM EST 09 December 2024 A low pressure system approaching Baffin Island will bring storm force winds to eastern Hudson Strait beginning Thursday afternoon, and to southwestern Davis Strait by Friday morning. Very strong winds of 50 to 60 knots can be expected with this system.
