northeast-southwest over Labrador Sea.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 4:00 PM NST 9 December 2025 A trough of low pressure located over the Northern Labrador Sea willbegin weakening as it starts drifting slowly southward this evening.
Strong to gale force easterlies to the north and east of the trough
will gradually diminish tonight and strong to gale force west to
northwesterlies to the south and west of the trough will gradually
diminish by late in the day Wednesday.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Sea and East Labrador Sea.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Lake Melville, the Labrador coast, and South Labrador Sea.
