Issued 4:00 AM NST 15 December 2017 Today Tonight and Saturday At 4:00 a.m. NST today low 956 mb located over northern Labrador.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Saturday merging low 972 mb located over the
Northwest Labrador Sea.

At 4:00 a.m. NST today intensifying low 988 mb located over Funk
Island Bank.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Saturday merging low 955 mb located over the
Northwest Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:48 AM NST 15 December 2017 An intense low pressure system over Northern Labrador will slowly
meander as it begins to weaken today. Gale force southerlies are
expected to the east of this system.

A second intensifying low will approach from the southeast to reach
the East Labrador Sea by this afternoon, then move northwestward to
merge with the remnants of the first low tonight. Strong to gale
force southerlies will increase to gale to storm force over eastern
waters this afternoon as this system crosses the East Labrador Sea.

Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
East Labrador Sea. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining
waters.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except the East Labrador Sea.
