By 4:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday weakening low 999 mb located over
Davis Strait.

At 9:30 a.m. NDT today ridge located on a line east-west over
Labrador.
By 9:30 a.m. NDT Wednesday ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over the East Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:18 AM NDT 21 August 2018 A low pressure system in the Davis Strait will gradually weaken as it
drifts northward away from the district today. Strong to gale force
westerlies over northern waters will begin to diminish tonight as the
low moves away and a ridge builds in over southern waters.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
North Labrador Coast, Northwest Labrador Sea - northern half, and
East Labrador Sea.
