Issued 4:00 AM NST 26 December 2024 Today Tonight and Friday At 4:00 a.m. NST today low 990 mb located over the coast of
Greenland.
By 9:30 p.m. NST tonight departing low 973 mb located east of
Greenland.

At 4:00 a.m. NST today ridge located on a line east-west over
Newfoundland.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Friday ridge located on a line north-south over
central Labrador Sea.

At 4:00 a.m. NST Friday approaching trough located over the
Torngat Mountains.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:50 AM NST 26 December 2024 A low pressure system along the coast of Greenland will track east of
Greenland today. Meanwhile, a ridge over Newfoundland will slowly
drift northward and build over the Labrador coast today. Strong to
gale force northwesterlies between these features will diminish today
as the low departs.

Marine interests are advised that gale and freezing spray warnings
are in effect for North Labrador Coast and the Labrador Sea.
