Issued 4:00 AM NDT 11 March 2025 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 4:00 a.m. NDT today quasi-stationary trough located on a linenorthwest-southeast over central Labrador Sea.
At 4:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located over western Labrador.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over Labrador Coast.
At 4:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday approaching trough located over western
Labrador.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 4:01 AM NDT 11 March 2025 A trough of low pressure along the border between the East LabradorSea and the South Labrador Sea will remain nearly stationary today
and tonight before gradually weakening on Wednesday. Gale to storm
force southeasterlies to the east of the trough will persist through
the forecast period, while strong to gale force northwesterlies to
its west will diminish on Wednesday as the trough weakens.
Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
East Labrador Sea. Gale warnings are in effect for South Labrador Sea
and Northwest Labrador Sea.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for South Labrador Sea and Northwest Labrador Sea.
