Issued 4:00 PM NDT 12 March 2026 Tonight and Friday At 4:00 p.m. NDT today departing low 994 mb located southeast
of Greenland.

At 4:00 a.m. NDT Friday deepening low 995 mb located over western
Newfoundland.
By 9:30 p.m. NDT Friday low 965 mb located over Belle Isle Bank.

At 4:00 p.m. NDT today ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over Belle Isle Bank.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT Friday departing ridge located southeast of the
East Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:55 PM NDT 12 March 2026 A deepening low pressure system will approach the marine district
from the southwest on Friday. Gale to storm force northerlies to
northeasterlies will shift to northwesterlies as the low passes south
of the district Friday night.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Coast and South Labrador Sea. A gale warning is in
effect for Mid Labrador Coast.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Labrador Sea.
